As a Site Services Engineer at KP Snacks, you'll play a critical role in keeping our site operating safely, efficiently and compliantly. You'll be responsible for maintaining essential utilities and site services equipment, including boilers, compressors and plant room assets, ensuring they perform reliably to support our manufacturing operation.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Engineering team where no two days are the same. You'll work across a broad range of equipment, take ownership of statutory compliance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the performance and reliability of our site. What will you be doing?
- Maintaining essential site services equipment
- Supporting the reliability and performance of critical assets including boilers, compressors, plant room equipment, effluent treatment systems and other site services infrastructure
- Completing statutory servicing and inspections
- Ensuring all servicing, inspections and compliance activities are completed to schedule, with documentation maintained accurately and ready for audit requirements
- Carrying out maintenance and repair activities
- Using your mechanical expertise to diagnose faults, complete repairs and support electrical maintenance activities where required to minimise downtime
- Managing site compliance activities
- Supporting LOLER inspections, legionella control measures, sprinkler systems, fire systems and other statutory requirements to ensure a safe and compliant site
- Driving continuous improvement through IWS
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and performance while supporting the development of our Intersnack Working System (IWS) across Engineering

The Intersnack Working System (IWS) is our approach to continuous improvement. It provides a structured framework that helps us improve performance, eliminate losses, develop colleague capability and build sustainable improvements across our manufacturing sites.
We'd love to hear from you if you can bring:
- A recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship or Mechanical Engineering qualification combined with relevant experience maintaining site services, utilities or industrial equipment within a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical maintenance experience with knowledge of equipment such as boilers, compressors, pumps, pipework, plant room equipment or similar utilities systems
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Able to manage multiple priorities, solve problems effectively and respond positively to changing business needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working independently and building effective relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders across the site
- Basic IT and data recording skills
- Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel and maintain accurate maintenance, compliance and audit records
