KP Acoustics Group are global experts in acoustics, providing independent noise and vibration consultancy across a wide range of sectors. We operate across four core areas: Consultancy, Monitoring, Research and Training, and we also develop innovative acoustic monitoring technology, including our eNView TM platform.
Our consultancy team works on projects ranging from small, technically challenging planning assessments through to large, complex developments across residential, commercial, education, healthcare and infrastructure sectors. We are known for delivering clear, robust advice that is practical and trusted by Clients, design teams and Local Authorities.
KP Acoustics South (KPAS) is a newly established regional entity within KP Acoustics, created to better serve Clients across the South of England. We are looking to build this team with consultants who are ready to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities- Assisting with consultancy projects in a remote working environment and, where required, site visits.
- Communicating with Clients, design teams and stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Managing own workload, priorities and deadlines to deliver project outcomes.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, and/or the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control
- Around 3 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy
- Technical background in both building and environmental acoustics
- A working knowledge of relevant legislation, British Standards and guidance applicable to planning and design-led acoustics
- Confidence communicating professionally with Clients, design teams and stakeholders
- The ability to manage your own workload, priorities and deadlines while working remotely
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required
