Role DescriptionWe are looking for Assistant Acoustic Consultant and Acoustic Consultant candidates with a solid consultancy background, who are comfortable working independently and managing projects from the initial enquiry to the final report, including liaison with Clients and design teams. The role involves conducting noise and vibration surveys, analyzing data, preparing technical reports, and delivering advice on architectural acoustics, environmental noise, and vibration control. Responsibilities also include managing projects from start to finish and collaborating with clients and team members to achieve project goals.
Qualifications- At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, and/or the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
- Around 3 - 5 years' experience in acoustic consultancy, with technical background in both building and environmental acoustics.
- A working knowledge of relevant legislation, British Standards and guidance applicable to planning and design‐led acoustics.
- Confidence communicating professionally with Clients, design teams and stakeholders.
- The ability to manage projects from start to finish and to manage your own workload, priorities and deadlines.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required.
