Join to apply for the Supply Chain Systems Analyst role at Kozmolina, Magma International. The Business Systems Team was recently established to focus and drive Business Systems Support, continuous improvement, and digital operation strategy across all sites, depots, distribution network and line of business platforms.

As Group Transport Systems Analyst you will lead the IT and technology projects that underpin the development of the Transport Management Systems, integrated fleet tracking, customer facing information services and integrations, as well as all supporting business information systems and processes. The individual will create BI solutions and provide 2nd and 3rd line support to helpdesk teams for TMS specific queries. You will work collaboratively with other functions to simplify and streamline existing business processes, driving continuous improvement. Working with full autonomy you will have room to be creative in your problem solving and able to influence decisions. This is a role to make your own. Occasional travel within Scotland to other group locations will be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • 2nd and 3rd line support for the mission critical business applications (Transport Management Systems and all supporting applications, BI).
  • Support business intelligence initiatives using SQL and Power BI.
  • Ensure data integrity through data modelling and data process governance.
  • Simplify and streamline existing business processes (continuous improvement).
  • Lead small projects with the TMS and BI solutions.
  • Engagement with the business to identify value add opportunities.
  • Lead on key account and key customer information services (customer dashboards, tracking, alerts).
  • Work with the wider IT team to implement hardware, network and system software in alignment with development requirements.
  • Engagement with the project framework process for IT implementations.

Experience And Skills:

  • Experience in a general IT/ Systems Analyst role.
  • Experience in the Transport Sector is a critical pre-requisite.
  • Good SQL Skills And Experience With BI Tools.
  • An understanding of data modelling.
  • Experience in system improvement or implementation projects.
  • Solid understanding of Master Data requirements.
  • Strong data analytics skills, including Excel, Power BI, and data modeling.
  • Ability to create process documentation and training materials.
  • Analytically minded and customer focused.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and implementation skills.
  • Experience with managing small projects.
  • Good communication skills to both technical and non-technical stakeholders of all levels.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
