Equifax is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Deal Pricing Consultant to join our team in Leeds or London. This is a critical role where you will directly influence our profitability and market success by shaping the commercial structure of our most complex deals. What You'll Do

  • Strategic Deal Structuring: Partner with our Sales team to quote, structure, and negotiate complex deals, ensuring fair customer value and profitable margins for the business.
  • Commercial Expertise: Serve as the commercial subject matter expert for price setting, delivery, and evolution for our diverse portfolio of private and public sector clients.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies for new and existing deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market conditions.
  • In-depth Analysis: Conduct rigorous analysis of proposed deals, considering costs, market demand, competition, and customer value to recommend optimal pricing structures.
  • Governance and Approvals: Own and manage the internal deal approval process, ensuring rigorous governance and securing commercial sign-off from the leadership team.
  • Financial Modelling: Design and maintain financial models to assess the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, profitability, and overall business performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Legal, and Operations colleagues to structure deals that meet customer needs while optimising company margins.
  • Market Intelligence: Build and maintain a market intelligence capability, tracking competitor pricing and industry trends to ensure our competitive edge.
  • Tender Support: Provide critical pricing and commercial input for responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of our pricing tools, systems, and processes to boost efficiency and accuracy.

What Experience You Need

  • Degree educated (2:1 or First Class) or possess equivalent professional experience.
  • Currently working in a role such as Pricing Analyst and looking to step into a more strategic, client-facing position.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A strong track record of commercial acumen and the proven ability to deliver against targets.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
