We are looking for a motivated
Sales Development Representative (SDR) to grow our presence in the UK market.

Your mission
As our SDR for the UK market, you will play a central role in generating new business and helping small and medium-sized enterprises discover the value of vaylens’ Community Charging solutions.
Your responsibilities will include
- Identifying, qualifying, and nurturing inbound leads from SMEs across the United Kingdom.
- Converting sales opportunities into customers and partnering closely with Account Executives on larger or more complex opportunities.
- Researching and engaging prospective customers through targeted outbound calls, emails, and Linked In outreach.
- Driving new customer acquisition while identifying upsell and cross-sell potential within the SME segment.
- Developing strong knowledge of the UK EV charging and e-mobility market.
- Positioning vaylens software as a preferred solution for Community Charging.
- Maintaining a high-quality sales pipeline in Salesforce, with accurate documentation, reporting, and forecasting.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Digital Fulfillment, and Customer Success to improve lead generation, conversion, and the overall customer experience.
- Acting as a trusted advisor by educating prospects on the commercial and operational value of our solutions.
Qualifications
Your profile
You are a proactive and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
You are confident starting conversations, asking thoughtful questions, and building trust with prospects.
What you bring
- Fluent English, either native-level or business fluent.
- 1–3 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
- Ideally, experience in Saa S, software, e-mobility, or another technology-driven sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong prospecting, qualification, and relationship-building abilities. Experience using CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Linked In Sales Navigator or comparable sales engagement tools.
- A structured, data-driven, and results-oriented approach to sales.
- The ability to work independently and effectively in a remote-first environment.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and the motivation to achieve ambitious goals.
- You must be based in the
United Kingdom or Hungary and willing to travel occasionally for customer meetings, trade shows, and company events.
