The Role
We are recruiting a motivated Marketing Executive to collaborate with our Account Managers in driving engagement across our key university accounts. This dynamic role will involve managing our Student Ambassador programs, coordinating events, and fostering relationships with university stakeholders.
As a member of the wider Marketing team, this role is pivotal in enhancing our presence within universities. The position is ideal for someone who understands the student experience, excels in organisation, communication, and attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Some experience in marketing, sales, recruitment, or event management is beneficial. Travel to university campuses will be required.
Key responsibilities
Engagement Marketing Strategy
- Collaborate with Account Managers to design and implement engagement marketing strategies, including developing marketing materials, email campaigns, and events.
- Liaise with universities and Kortext Account Managers to launch Student Ambassador programs and academic advocate initiatives.
Event Management
- Organise and attend university events such as pop-up events, Freshers Fairs, and training sessions.
- Ensure promotional materials are prepared and available for all engagement events.
Student Ambassador Program Management
- Advertise Student Ambassador roles via university job boards, Kortexts website, and recruitment sites.
- Screen, interview, and hire candidates for ambassador roles.
- Train new Student Ambassadors and serve as their primary point of contact.
- Manage ambassadors creating tasks, tracking performance, and providing feedback.
Data & Feedback Analysis
- Gather feedback on the Kortext platform through surveys and focus groups.
- Analyse engagement data and produce monthly reports to measure program success.
Collaboration & Partnerships
- Work with the HR team on recruitment and payroll requirements for Student Ambassadors.
- Collaborate with partners such as Student Minds to promote student well-being.
- Assist in creating marketing materials tailored to university needs in collaboration with the marketing team.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Experience in marketing, recruitment, sales, or event management.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management.
- Experience using digital tools such as SurveyMonkey, Mailchimp, or social media platforms for marketing purposes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in public speaking.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Empathy, team-building abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
