Reporting To: Manager of Solutions Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Customer and publisher analytics
- Deliver bespoke usage and engagement reports for universities, NHS Trusts and publishers with quick turnaround
- Build, maintain and provision access to customer-facing Power BI dashboards (e.g. publisher, university, DDA and OER reporting)
- Produce recurring publisher reports (monthly/quarterly) and respond to ad-hoc requests for usage, collection, turnaway and access-code data
- Support international customers and partners against tight, business-critical deadlines
- Internal reporting and decision support
- Build and maintain internal dashboards for internal departments
- Support recurring strategic analytics workstreams and dashboard refresh cycles
- Produce and refresh Power BI reports for academic-year transitions, contract renewals and commercial reviews
- Data engineering collaboration with KABS (Kortext Digital Transformation Team)
- Collaborate with the KABS Python development team on data ingestion, metadata, semantic models and pipelines, with the ability to read, write and review Python (including PRs, helper scripts and shared notebooks)
- Support the migration of analytics workloads to Microsoft Fabric, including workspace setup, data modelling and source integration
- Investigate and triage data quality issues end-to-end, tracing problems back to source systems, semantic models or Python pipelines, and working with engineers to fix them
- Operational and BAU work
- Run and maintain recurring BAU tasks and tickets, including scheduled reports
- Manage Power BI access, RLS, dataset refresh issues, gateways
