We’re hiring a Principal Consultant to join our high-performing Total Reward team. This is a unique opportunity to lead strategic reward projects that drive pay transparency, harmonisation, and performance alignment — with a particular focus on supporting clients in the public sector.
What You\’ll Do
As a Principal Consultant, you’ll lead and deliver impactful Total Reward solutions, including:
- Designing base pay and variable pay structures
- Conducting benchmarking and job evaluation
- Creating career architecture and performance frameworks
- Advising on equal pay and transparency legislation
- Leading client engagements and managing complex reward projects
You’ll also contribute to business development, mentor junior consultants, and collaborate across our consulting practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep reward expertise from internal HR or management consulting
- Strong technical skills in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis
- Experience in job sizing, benchmarking, and pay strategy
- A consultative mindset with the ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders
- Comfort working in fast-paced, client-facing environments
Experience working with public sector organisations is highly valued, but not essential. What matters most is your ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and deliver value.
We’re ideally looking for someone based in London or the Home Counties, but we welcome applications from across the UK but you must be committed to travel across the UK with overnight stays to strengthen relationships with clients face to face.
