Our client is a global leader in technology solutions, working with major FMCG brands and retailers across the world to create new and innovative ways to drive consumer sales instore. They work with products which are front and centre in the retail space and solve their client’s needs in a fast changing and challenging retail landscape.

Leading an experienced sales team, this position will be responsible for creating and executing a forward-thinking commercial strategy. The Sales Director will establish a clear vision and value proposition to remain a clear market leader with several of the major grocery retailers, allowing your team to provide maximum value to customers and achieve commercial success. To execute this strategy, you must be able to manage and motivate a high-performing sales team. In addition, you will be expected to lead by example, building strategic partnerships with key customers in the retail industry.

Proven experience and in-depth knowledge, insight and networks in the retail industry will be necessary to succeed as Sales Director; this could be within the B2C, B2B or retail sector itself. You will also have some experience of managing sales professionals to achieve results as well as the capability to operate as an individual contributor. We will also want to see the ability to build and deliver high-touch, large scale solutions for retail customers.
