As an Associate Principal in Organisational Design, you lead the transformation of how organisations operate—translating strategy into practical, people-led design. You’ll shape operating models, structures, governance and roles, ensuring organisations are built around their people and set up to perform.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, owning critical OD workstreams end-to-end, while working as part of a broader consulting team to deliver integrated solutions across our full human capital offering. This is a step up—more ownership, greater visibility, and a stronger voice in shaping both client outcomes and team delivery.
What You’ll Do

- Design operating models, structures and governance aligned to business and people strategy
- Translate strategic ambition into clear, implementable organisational solutions
- Ensure design decisions reflect culture, capability, and ways of working—not just structure
- Alongside delivery, you’ll operate as a credible advisor to clients:
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops and guide key design decisions
- Advise on organisational trade-offs, risks and performance implications
- You’ll also take ownership of delivery quality and team leadership:
- Own the delivery, quality, and outputs of your workstreams end-to-end
- Manage risks, dependencies and stakeholder alignment
- Coach and develop Consultants and Senior Consultants, building capability across the team
- As part of a broader consulting environment, you’ll contribute beyond core delivery:
- Support the development of proposals and bid materials
- Contribute to Korn Ferry’s organisational design methodologies and IP
- Bring external insight into how organisations are evolving in the future of work
What You’ll Bring
You bring a strong grounding in organisational design and a clear understanding of how people strategy drives business performance. You’re comfortable leading workstreams, influencing senior stakeholders, and navigating complexity with a structured, pragmatic approach.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience designing operating models and organisational structures
- Strong consulting toolkit and problem-solving capability
- Confidence working with senior leaders and facilitating discussions
- A collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing others
- Comfort working in ambiguity and driving clarity through complexity
- Digital and AI fluency, including Microsoft tools and emerging technologies
