Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Equity Settlements Analyst to join our Equity Operations team. The role focuses on managing settlement duties across multiple markets, ensuring timely and accurate trade processing, cash management, and reconciliation. You will play a key part in minimizing operational risk while building strong relationships with trading desks, clients, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a numerate discipline.
- Experience in financial services, preferably within trade support, settlements, or operations.
- Strong understanding of trade matching, settlement, and fails processes, particularly in North American and European markets.
- Exposure to Crest, GLOSS, NEOLINK, HSBC, Citibank cash systems (desirable).
- Knowledge of equities is essential; familiarity with other instruments is a plus.
- Broad awareness of settlement practices across US, Canada, Europe, South Africa, and Asia-Pacific markets.
