Our client is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join a high-performing mobile engineering team responsible for applications used by millions of customers worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale consumer-facing products, delivering high-quality mobile experiences while collaborating within a modern agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and enhance native iOS applications using Swift.
Build scalable, maintainable solutions focused on performance and user experience.
Work closely with product, design, QA and engineering teams to deliver new features.
Debug, profile and optimise applications to ensure reliability and responsiveness.
Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices.
Refactor and modernise Legacy code where required.
Produce technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong commercial experience developing native iOS applications.
Excellent knowledge of Swift and exposure to Objective-C.
Experience with UIKit, MVVM architecture and REST API integrations.
Familiarity with build and CI/CD tooling.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Strong debugging, problem-solving and performance optimisation skills.
Ability to work effectively within distributed agile teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
