We are supporting a senior leadership assessment project operating within a nationally recognised vetting and governance framework. It is mandatory that you've worked, and have previous experience within Police Services. The work involves assessing Business Unit leaders and executive‑level leaders, with a focus on leadership capability, behaviours, underlying drivers, decision‑making and stakeholder impact within a high‑accountability, regulated environment. This is not an operational or compliance role.
Role Purpose
To provide independent, objective assessment of senior leaders against defined leadership and behavioural criteria, supporting fair, consistent and defensible assessment outcomes.
Scope of Assessment
- Associates will assess senior leaders across areas including:
- Leadership competencies and behavioural effectiveness
- Leadership style, judgement and decision‑making under pressure
- Underlying drivers, motivations and integrity
- Stakeholder management, influence and partnership working
- Operating effectiveness within complex, high‑accountability environments
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured assessments of Business Unit and executive‑level leaders
- Apply evidence‑based professional judgement against agreed frameworks
- Clearly document assessment outcomes to audit‑ready standards
- Participate in moderation and calibration to ensure consistency
- Operate within strict confidentiality, governance and information‑handling requirements
Required Experience
- Essential Significant experience assessing senior leaders or executives
- Mandatory that you've worked and have previous experience within Police Services.
- Background in occupational psychology or senior HR assessment / selection
- Strong evidence‑based judgement and written reasoning capability
- Experience working in regulated, highly scrutinised or high‑risk environments
