We are supporting a global organisation undergoing rapid expansion of its Workday-based solutions portfolio, and are looking for an experienced Workday Project Manager / Delivery Lead to support multiple client-facing implementations. This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension. Rate: up to £500 a day inside IR35.
You will play a key role in delivering Workday-integrated solutions into client environments, acting as the bridge between internal product teams and client stakeholders. These are not full-scale Workday implementations, but targeted deployments of applications within Workday, requiring someone who understands how solutions land within the Workday ecosystem.
You will:
- Lead delivery of multiple concurrent Workday-related implementations
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders
- Provide guidance on how solutions should be configured and used within Workday
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, change, product specialists)
- Manage timelines, risks, and overall delivery outcomes
- Support clients through adoption, troubleshooting, and decision-making
Key Requirements
- Strong experience delivering Workday implementations or deployments
- Background as a: Project Manager, Programme Manager, Implementation / Delivery Lead
- Solid understanding of Workday HCM (and/or Finance)
- Experience working in client-facing environments
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous delivery settings
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ideal Profile
- Experience working across multiple Workday projects or workstreams simultaneously
- Exposure to integrations, data, or system configuration (not necessarily hands-on)
- Comfortable advising clients on how to utilise Workday effectively
