We're supporting a major financial services organisation on a large-scale platform transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Programme Director to lead delivery. This is a high-impact role overseeing a multi-year transformation to rebuild core client and adviser platforms, modernising both technology architecture and operational capabilities.
You'll take full ownership of programme delivery, acting as the senior point of accountability across a complex, multi-workstream transformation. This includes:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of a large-scale platform transformation programme
- Establishing programme governance, operating model, and delivery structure
- Driving execution across engineering, architecture, integration, and migration workstreams
- Managing senior stakeholder relationships, including executive-level engagement
- Owning programme performance across scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Identifying and mitigating risks across technical and organisational domains
Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programmes (£20M+)
Strong background in platform modernisation or rebuild initiatives
Experience operating within regulated environments (ideally financial services)
Deep understanding of agile and scaled delivery models
Strong commercial awareness and experience managing programme budgets
Ability to operate confidently at executive stakeholder level
