Our client is looking to hire a Lead C++ Developer on a 12-month initial contract, operating inside IR35.

You will be leading a team of developers to help build the next generation of electronic trading system for a global organization, and as such will need to have exceptional experience in leading teams on complex programs within the trading space, as well as very strong hands-on experience in developing algorithms.

This role will be based in London, with a requirement for 3 days on-site time each week, and 2 days working remotely.

Specific Software Skills are:

  • Strong expertise in C++ development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with Git, build systems, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and software development tools is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in software engineering
  • Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
