About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Counsel to join our dynamic legal team for a period of 12 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract negotiation, Employment, Intellectual Property (IP), Privacy, and Professional Services.
Responsibilities
- Perform prompt, consistent and accurate contract review, drafting, interpretation, and negotiation of contract terms and conditions, and overall contract support in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Review and provide guidance on proposals and contracts, and recommend solutions to mitigate business risks.
- Support business units with preparation and finalization of various client contracts, including consulting agreements, product agreements, license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other terms and conditions.
- Draft custom contracts and standard templates.
- Provide general corporate governance legal support related to overall management of international entities.
- Collaborate with in-country outside counsel and business leaders to plan and execute on subsidiary matters.
- Draft and review documents related to all applicable transactional and governance responsibilities.
Qualifications
- License to practice law.
- Experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on contract negotiation, Employment, Real Estate, IP, privacy, and professional services.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, IP law, privacy law and ideally experience of working across EMEA.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Language skills are a plus.
