About Us

Korn Ferry is a global consulting firm that powers performance. We unlock the potential in your people and unleash transformation across your business - synchronizing strategy, operations, and talent to accelerate performance, fuel growth, and inspire a legacy of change. That’s why the world’s most forward-thinking companies across every major industry turn to us - for a shared commitment to lasting impact and the bold ambition to Be More Than.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, our over 17,000 colleagues globally serve clients from more than 130 offices across the globe. We offer five core capabilities that span the full talent lifecycle:

  • Organizational Strategy
  • Assessment and Succession
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Leadership and Professional Development
  • Total Rewards

As a Senior Consultant, you won't be restricted to one specialist area. You'll help bring complex, often multi-market engagements to life, connecting clients, consultants and specialist teams to make sure great thinking translates into great delivery.

While many of our current large-scale programmes sit within Assessment & Succession and Leadership & Professional Development, this role is solution-agnostic. The focus is on excellent engagement management, programme delivery and client experience rather than deep specialism in one solution area.

The Role

As a Senior Consultant – Engagement Management, you'll take ownership of the successful end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale client engagements.

Working closely with Client Partners, Principals and multidisciplinary delivery teams, you'll bring structure and momentum to complex programmes, ensuring projects stay aligned, commercially sound and focused on delivering an excellent client experience.

This is a role at the intersection of client management, programme delivery and commercial discipline. It will suit someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, connecting people and workstreams, and building trusted relationships in a fast-paced consulting environment.

What You'll Do

  • Own the day-to-day management of client engagements from initiation through to close.
  • Build and manage integrated delivery plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, risks and resources.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary Korn Ferry teams across geographies and solution areas.
  • Act as a key day-to-day client contact, keeping communication clear and stakeholders aligned.
  • Bring together multiple workstreams, priorities and contributors to keep complex programmes moving.
  • Track engagement financials, including budgets, forecasts, billing and revenue recognition.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues and change requests.
  • Work closely with Client Partners to manage scope, expectations and commercial outcomes.

Quality & Client Experience

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of Korn Ferry solutions.
  • Build strong client relationships based on trust, credibility and responsiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness and the overall client experience.
  • Matrix-manage consultants, project managers and other contributors across engagement teams.
  • Create a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Support junior colleagues through coaching, guidance and feedback.

What We're Looking For

You'll be someone who is comfortable operating in complex, client-facing environments and can bring together people, plans and priorities to deliver effectively.

You'll bring:

  • Strong engagement management capability, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders and timelines.
  • An analytical mindset and the ability to bring structure to complex programmes and information.
  • A genuinely client-focused approach, with the confidence to build trusted relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and credibility with senior clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Resilience and adaptability, particularly when priorities shift or programmes evolve.
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, alongside AI-enabled tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT.

Experience

We're particularly interested in people who have worked within consulting, professional services, HR/human capital consulting, or similarly complex client-facing environments.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience managing or supporting the delivery of complex consulting engagements or programmes.
  • A track record of coordinating diverse teams and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong project and programme management disciplines.
  • Experience working with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

This isn't an IT delivery role. We're looking for someone who understands the dynamics of people, organisational or human capital consulting and can bring the engagement management capability needed to turn complex consulting programmes into a great client experience.
