The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Hire Prep Technician to assist our Hire Prep Technician in our Operations Centre in Huntingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity with genuine scope for development within a growing and technology-driven business. Working as part of our Hire team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the right equipment, on time and ready to perform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking, preparing and booking out hire equipment
  • Supporting the preparation, testing and maintenance of hire kit
  • Assisting with goods in/out processes
  • Supporting the wider Hire team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

About You

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a hands‑on, operational environment
  • Basic IT skills and confidence with admin tasks
  • A team player who is reliable and proactive
  • Desirable: Some exposure to the survey, geospatial or construction hire industry
