Why this role matters As a Sales Team Lead at Kord, you will be responsible for shaping how we sell and for the people who do the selling.

This is a pivotal step for our Sales function as we scale, and you will play a central part in how it takes shape.

We are looking for someone hands‑on who leads by doing.

You will set the standards, put a strong rhythm in place, and coach people to be good at their jobs.

The difference between telling someone what to do and helping them get genuinely better is the difference we care about here.

This is a leadership role with real commercial weight.

You will own the revenue plan, build the pipeline discipline behind it, and grow the team as Kord scales.

  • What you'll own Coaching and managing the team
  • Coach and develop the team, focusing on helping people do their best work rather than simply assigning tasks
  • Run enablement that lifts the whole team's capability, from prospecting through to closing
  • Be present and hands‑on in live deals, modelling good practice and stepping in where it helps people learn
  • Put consistency in place: kick‑off calls, weekly check‑ins, and a clear rhythm the team can rely on
  • Establish the processes, templates, and playbooks a growing sales team needs to work in a repeatable way
  • Set standards for how deals are worked, recorded, and progressed
  • Revenue and pipeline ownership
  • Own the revenue plan and hold the team to it
  • Own pipeline insight and CRM discipline, keeping Hub Spot accurate and giving a clear, honest view of what is really happening
  • Forecast revenue and run a reliable forecasting cadence, so the business can plan with confidence
  • Full-cycle sales management
  • Manage the full sales cycle across both outbound and inbound motions
  • Own lead generation, making sure the team has a healthy top of funnel and a clear approach to filling it
  • Keep the whole journey joined up, from first contact through to close
  • Team leadership and hiring
  • Lead and develop the sales team, setting high standards and supporting people to meet them
  • Bring on new salespeople as the team grows, owning hiring and onboarding so new starters ramp quickly

Requirements Essential

  • 4 or more years of management or sales leadership experience, ideally gained in a small, early‑stage tech, Saa S, or fintech business at around Series A to Series B stage
  • Experience building structure and cadence into how a team sells
  • A genuine coaching mindset, comfortable getting hands‑on and helping people improve rather than only directing
  • Strong ownership of a revenue plan, pipeline, and forecasting, with the discipline to keep a clear and honest view
  • Full-cycle sales experience across outbound and inbound, including lead generation
  • Confident with CRM and pipeline management, ideally Hub Spot
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, scaling business, and happy building and improving as you go
  • Highly desirable
  • Exposure to compliance or a regulated industry
  • Knowledge of KYC, AML, or identity verification products
