Kopek Security & Facilities Ltd is a national provider of manned and canine assisted security services. We are looking for compliant, diligent GP Dog Handlers that we can call upon for various sites as they go live across Scotland. All handlers will be required to ensure the security of our client’s premises while adhering to the site safety rules and regulations. Handlers will be required to be compliant with the British Standards, conduct random dog patrols of the site and any other specific duties to be advised in the assignment instructions. Successful applicants will be expected to maintain high levels of proficiency along with their canine teammate through regular training and improvements. A high level of animal welfare and care will always be expected!
Hours of Work: Likely to be working 12 hour shifts
Rates of Pay: £15.23hr PAYE

Handler Requirements: To apply, applicants are required to have:
- Exemplary work ethics, positive attitude and happy to work as part of a team
- Genuine understanding of their canine partners needs/welfare
- A valid frontline SIA badge
- Minimum level 2 team certificate (NASDU, NTIPDU or BIPDT)
- Continuation training (CT) records
- A suitable dog of guarding breed
- Compliant dog cages with escape hatches
- Have the right to work in the UK and able to work 20 hours or more a week
- Professional, presentable with excellent communication skills
- Smart black uniform & boots with clean hi-vis/tactical vest
All applicants will be screened and vetted to BS 8517 and BS 7858.
