We are seeking vigilant and dependable Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises. The ideal candidates will be responsible for monitoring the site, preventing loss, and responding promptly to incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are highly valued. The successful applicant will be trained in surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain security and identify potential hazards or suspicious activity.
- Enforce access control procedures by checking credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access through vigilant observation and intervention.
- Respond swiftly to alarms or emergencies, including medical incidents, by providing first aid when necessary.
- Write detailed incident reports accurately and promptly for any security breaches or unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor or above.
- Right to Work in the UK with the ability to work more than 20 hours a week.
- Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or a similar security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Be professional, presentable with excellent communication skills at all times.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond decisively in emergency situations.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
- Must be physically fit, able to stand for extended periods, and work flexible hours as required.
