Are you a PR / Content marketer who actually cares about results, not vanity coverage? Someone who lives for a sharp hook, loves pitching journalists, and isn’t frightened of a bit of SEO?
If this is you, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for a commercially minded, proactive PR & Content Specialist to join us and deliver creative campaigns that earn meaningful coverage, links, and genuine brand impact for clients.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s talented, curious, enjoys the chase, and will happily pick up the phone to a journalist if an email is being ignored.
You’ll own and deliver PR & Content campaigns that genuinely shift something for clients; brand awareness, search visibility, and commercial outcomes.
You’ll work closely with our SEO specialist so the coverage you earn isn’t just pretty, it supports rankings, drives traffic, and builds authority on the pages that matter.
As a PR & Content Specialist you’ll be involved in:
- Brainstorming and ideating PR campaign concepts
- Researching and writing press releases and pitch emails
- Speaking to journalists via email and phone
- Creating media lists and building journalist relationships
- Securing links and media coverage that actually helps the client’s organic performance
- Keyword research, writing landing pages, blogs and LinkedIn posts with SEO in mind (training can be provided for candidates with strong PR experience)
- Link building (including directory links and link reclamation)
- Creating succinct reporting and summarising results for clients
- Contributing to wider strategy development alongside the MD and channel leads
- Supporting new business pitches
- 5+ years in PR / Outreach / Content Marketing; ideally agency side
- Able to write copy that editors actually want to use
- Confident pitching to journalists, phone as well as email
- Comfortable presenting to clients and explaining the “why” behind ideas
- A nose for what is newsworthy rather than “content for content’s sake”
- Basic SEO understanding (technical, on-page, off-page)
- Existing journalist relationships in any vertical
- Experience mapping coverage and links back to SEO performance
- Familiarity with PR databases / media tools
- Previous agency experience
