This person will lead proactive, data-driven financial planning across the organisation, owning the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycle while providing clear commercial insight to support confident decision-making and sustainable growth.

Lead monthly business and performance reviews with senior leaders, partnering with them to evaluate variances, track cross-functional metrics, and enforce accountability against agreed targets. Partner closely with departmental heads and the Executive Leadership Team to manage costs, optimise performance, and successfully achieve strategic initiatives.
  • Commercial Partnering: Be the dedicated financial partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and Commercial department, translating commercial strategies and expansion plans into quantitative financial outcomes. Review and pressure-test the commercial sales pipeline within Salesforce/CRM systems. Apply weighted probabilities, sales cycle analytics, and conversion metrics to optimise revenue forecasting and capacity planning. Evaluate, model, and sign off on all commercial proposals and complex enterprise contracts, tiered subscription models, and regional risk-sharing pricing mechanisms.
  • Leadership & Governance: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing FP&A and business-partnering function. Sit as an active, collaborative member of Kooth’s senior leadership group, championing a culture of commercial accountability, financial discipline, and strategic agility across the entire organisation.

What You’ll Bring

  • Advanced financial modelling and forecasting expertise, with elite Excel and Google Sheets capabilities.
  • Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting experience.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large and complex datasets.
  • High proficiency in AI tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to enhance planning, reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and business value.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and business partnering capability.
  • Confidence to challenge senior leaders and provide independent commercial insight.
  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • High levels of adaptability, flexibility, and resilience.
  • Ability to operate effectively across UK and US teams and time zones.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage competing demands during peak planning and reporting cycles.
  • Degree Level Graduate (with strong academics).
  • 8 years+ Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
  • Proven track record leading FP&A or Commercial Finance teams.
