Job description

We are looking for a Personal Care Attendant to assist a private female employer with providing personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living during the day.

Location

  • Cranbrook (near Pop Price Park)

Shifts & Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00am to 2:00pm (or 3pm)

Compensation

  • $20 to $22 per hour for probationary period based on experience

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)

  • - All personal care including showering/bathing, dressing, grooming (skin care), and bowel/toilet routine
  • - Sit to Lift transfers
  • - Meal preparation (breakfast and lunch)
  • - Range of Motion - EMS therapy
  • - Assist Physiotherapists on Fridays
  • - Medication Administration
  • - Light housekeeping
  • - Outings with client with Handi Dart for appointments

Required Qualifications

  • - Drivers License and reliable vehicle preferred
  • - Caregiving experience with Disabled Adults preferred
  • - First Aid/CPR certification
  • - Comfortable working in an environment with a small dog
  • - Physically able to assist with physical transfers safely
