Job description
We are looking for a Personal Care Attendant to assist a private female employer with providing personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living during the day.
Location
- Cranbrook (near Pop Price Park)
Shifts & Hours
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am to 2:00pm (or 3pm)
Compensation
- $20 to $22 per hour for probationary period based on experience
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)
- - All personal care including showering/bathing, dressing, grooming (skin care), and bowel/toilet routine
- - Sit to Lift transfers
- - Meal preparation (breakfast and lunch)
- - Range of Motion - EMS therapy
- - Assist Physiotherapists on Fridays
- - Medication Administration
- - Light housekeeping
- - Outings with client with Handi Dart for appointments
Required Qualifications
- - Drivers License and reliable vehicle preferred
- - Caregiving experience with Disabled Adults preferred
- - First Aid/CPR certification
- - Comfortable working in an environment with a small dog
- - Physically able to assist with physical transfers safely
