Job Overview

Manage the KOOSA Kids Out‑of‑School club at Birch Hill Primary School in Bracknell, overseeing breakfast, after‑school and holiday clubs. Provide a safe, engaging childcare environment for children aged 4‑13 and represent KOOSA Kids to the school community. A separate full‑time position is also available in Ashford, Surrey (TW15).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver all activities for breakfast, after‑school and holiday clubs.
• Supervise all staff, ensuring club activities are delivered to KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards.
• Implement club operating procedures, marketing and recruitment support, and maintain training records.
• Manage equipment inventories and ensure sufficient supplies for each club.
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager to recruit part‑time and casual staff; attend interviews and events.
• Participate in club promotion at school events, local festivals and parent evenings.
• Monitor club performance, submit pre‑approved training audits and uphold safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience in childcare, early years or playwork.
• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (beneficial but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
• Clear enhanced DBS check (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Experience working in a primary school, nursery or as a teaching assistant/teacher preferred.
• Inspirational approach, creativity and a genuine passion for engaging children aged 4‑13.
