KOOSA Kids is a leading provider of fun & affordable after school, breakfast, and holiday clubs, passionate about delivering high-quality childcare. We are recruiting for Breakfast Club Childcare Playwork Assistants at our clubs at All Saints Junior School and Church Crookham Junior School in Fleet, Hampshire (GU51/GU52).
This is a part-time, term-time only position, working Monday to Friday from 7.45 – 9.00 am at All Saints Junior School, or Monday to Thursday from 7.30 – 8.50 am at Church Crookham Junior School.
The role
As a Breakfast Club Childcare Assistant, you will assist the Breakfast Club Manager in running the club safely and efficiently. You will help provide breakfast and deliver activities that meet KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards, creating a safe, secure, and fun environment for children to explore and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe and organized running of the Breakfast Club
- Help prepare, serve, and tidy up after breakfast
- Be sensitive to children with additional needs (Physical, Behavioural, Dietary)
- Understand relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids policies, including safeguarding
- Ensure activity areas are clean and tidy at the end of each day
- Experience in primary school, pre-school, or nursery settings is preferred, e.g., a Teaching Assistant or Early Years Educator
Skills & Experience
- Passion for working with children in early years or playwork settings
- Creative, fun, energetic, and reliable
- Ability to engage with children aged 4-11
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivational skills to inspire others
- Clearance for an enhanced DBS check
- Opportunities for qualifications and career development
- Full training and induction provided
Hours
Monday to Friday from 7.45 – 9.00 am at All Saints Junior School, or Monday to Thursday from 7.30 – 8.50 am at Church Crookham Junior School, term time only.
