Fully Ofsted registered, we are passionate about our people and share a mission to offer children and parents outstanding, fun‑filled out of school childcare. We are recruiting for a Breakfast Club Childcare Playwork Assistant at Alderwood Infant School, Aldershot. This part‑time, term‑time only role works Monday to Friday from 7:40 AM to 9:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Breakfast Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the Breakfast Club.
- Prepare, serve and tidy up children's breakfasts.
- Maintain sensitivity for children with additional needs (physical, behavioural, dietary).
- Develop a thorough understanding of Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies, including safeguarding.
- Ensure activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Passion or interest in working within a childcare, early‑years or playwork setting.
- Fun and energetic nature, reliable and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and children.
- Ability to relate to and engage with children aged 4‑11 years.
- Opportunities to gain qualifications and further growth will be available for suitable candidates.
