Breakfast Club Childcare Assistant at Alderwood School in Aldershot, Hampshire (GU11). This is part-time, term-time only, working Monday to Friday from 7.40am to 9.00am, starting in the New Year. KOOSA Kids is a leading provider of fun and affordable after school, breakfast club and holiday club childcare, with many clubs rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
KOOSA Kids are now recruiting for a Breakfast Club Childcare Assistant at our Alderwood School club in Aldershot, Hampshire (GU11). You will actively and enthusiastically assist the Breakfast Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the Breakfast Club, following direction to help provide breakfast and the scheduled programme of activities for attending children. You will ensure all activities are delivered to KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards at all times and provide a safe and secure environment for children to explore, grow and have FUN.
Responsibilities:
- Actively and enthusiastically assist the Breakfast Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the Breakfast Club at Alderwood School in Aldershot, Hampshire (GU11).
- Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of the children’s breakfasts.
- Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (physical, behaviour, dietary).
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids internal policies and procedures, including safeguarding.
- Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
Skills & Experience:
- Passion or interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting.
- Inspiring and creative; brings fun to the team.
- Energetic, reliable and passionate.
- Ability to relate to and engage with children aged 4–13 years.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others to high standards.
- Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
- Opportunities to gain qualifications and develop within KOOSA Kids, where available.
- Full training and inductions will be provided to all Breakfast Club Assistants.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7.40am – 9.00am, term-time only.
