We are on the lookout for individuals who share our passion and commitment for delivering high quality childcare, playwork and children's activities. We are now recruiting for After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistants at our after school club at St Mary's Primary School in Chiddingfold, Surrey (GU8). This role is part time, term time only, working Monday to Thursday from 2.45pm – 6.00pm.
Responsibilities- Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club at St Mary's Primary School.
- Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of ‘snack time’.
- Have awareness of and maintain sensitivity for any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary).
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding.
- Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.
This role suits somebody with experience of working in a Primary School, Pre‑School or Nursery, e.g. a Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator or Nursery Assistant, or someone looking to move into the childcare industry.
Skills & Experience- You have a passion for or interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting.

- You are reliable and passionate over everything else.
- You can relate and engage with children aged between 4 – 11 years.
- You are a people person with fantastic communication skills.
- You have the ability to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard.
- You have the ability to be cleared for an enhanced DBS check.
