KOOSA Kids are now recruiting for an After School Club Childcare Playwork Supervisor at our after school club at All Saints Primary School in Fleet GU51. This role is part time, term time only, working Monday to Friday from 3.00pm - 6pm.
As After School Club Supervisor, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and management of an after school club. Supervising and directing a small team, you will ensure the safe and organised running of the club, fully supported by your Regional Manager and a dedicated Operations Team at Head Office.
Every afternoon, the After School Club Supervisor will supervise an after school club where you and your team will directly organise, deliver and participate in activities with the children in your care. You will ensure all activities are delivered to KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards at all times. You will provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to explore, grow and have FUN!
Key Responsibilities:- Overall responsibility for the day to day management of the After School Club as an After School Club Playwork Childcare Supervisor at our club at All Saints Junior School, Fleet GU51.
- Print off daily registers & manage safe and secure 'sign in & sign out' process each day, communicating effectively with school staff & parents at all times.
- Develop a thorough understanding of KOOSA Kids programme of activity and deliver activities accordingly to children each afternoon, directing colleagues as appropriate.
- Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary).
- Purchase healthy snacks for the After School Club.
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding, and communicate any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead in a timely fashion.
- Ensure the After School Club operates to Ofsted and KOOSA Kids policies & procedures at all times.
- Carry out daily risk assessments & complete all relevant operational paperwork.
