As a Regional Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the clubs across your region. Working closely with the Training and Development Manager, you will lead and support your teams to consistently deliver outstanding childcare that meets and exceeds KOOSA Kids and Ofsted standards. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll spend your time out in clubs, coaching, supporting and developing teams, auditing quality, and ensuring every setting provides an exceptional experience for children, parents and schools alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day operational performance of the clubs within your region, ensuring they are fully staffed, well-equipped and running efficiently.
- Supporting, coaching and developing Site Supervisors and club teams to deliver consistently high standards of care and engaging activities.
- Regularly visiting clubs to monitor quality, observe practice and implement tailored support and improvement plans where required.
- Providing operational cover for staff absences when necessary to ensure continuity of service.
- Line managing regional teams, driving engagement, performance and staff retention while fostering a positive, supportive culture.
- Working closely with HR and the Training and Development Manager to ensure all people processes, including attendance, probation, performance reviews, sickness and family leave, are managed effectively and in line with company policies.
- Welcoming and inducting new team members, ensuring they receive the support, training and development needed to succeed from day one.
- Delivering training audits and supporting Site Supervisors through the SPA process, Children's Activity Coaches through their NVQs, and assisting with the implementation of KOOSA Kids' FTM and A2C development programmes.
- Collaborating with the Marketing Team to grow your clubs by organising and attending parent evenings, school fetes, taster sessions, brochure drops and club showarounds, while ensuring clubs remain well-stocked with marketing materials.

This is a full-time position with working patterns that vary throughout the year to reflect the seasonal nature of our services.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum 2-3 years management experience in a childcare, early years or playwork setting.
- A minimum of level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent).
- Full driving license with access to your own vehicle essential.
- Be inspirational, bringing fun and creativeness to the team.
- Have a fun and energetic nature.
- Be reliable and passionate over everything else.
- Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 13 years.
- Be a people person with fantastic communication skills.
- Have the ability to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard.
- Have the ability to be cleared for an enhanced DBS check.
