You will join Sylvera's Legal function as a paralegal on a 6-month fixed-term contract with possible permanent conversion, reporting to the Head of Legal.
Responsibilities
- draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and NDAs against playbooks for the Sales team
- build and maintain internal templates using AI tooling
- support customer procurement, vendor contracting and InfoSec security reviews
- handle corporate filings and regulatory compliance
- review third-party data licensing
- manage GDPR queries, DPAs and employment matters
Sylvera provides machine learning-powered carbon ratings and geospatial analytics to Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions and governments, with $97 million raised from Fidelity, Balderton, Index Ventures and Insight Partners.
You have commercial-contracts experience in an in-house setting, ideally supporting a fast-moving B2B SaaS or technology business, and you can read a contract against a playbook to distinguish acceptable changes from escalation points. You stay meticulous when maintaining trackers across multiple workstreams with competing deadlines, and you explain legal process to non-lawyers without losing their attention or your patience. You are comfortable using AI tools like Claude to self-serve on routine work, and you would rather build a template than reuse one that does not fit.
