About the Role
Konrad Group is looking for a Payroll & Operations Specialist to help manage our global payroll, benefits administration, and employee service functions. The successful candidate will work out of our Peterborough office.
What You’ll Do
- Advanced data manipulation (XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays, and data cleaning) with the ability to manage and reconcile high volumes of information across disparate platforms.
- Systems integration - maintain, improve and investigate current and proposed global HRIS and payroll platforms and tools.
- Process automation - maintain workflow with intention to find efficiency and automation in processes.
- Contribute to multi-state, multi-country payroll, benefits administration, and employee services administration functions.
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding global legislative payroll requirements, required government remittances and reporting.
- Maintain and audit employee records across multiple internal databases and jurisdictions, ensuring profiles remain synchronized, secure and 100% error free.
- Ensuring that appropriate systems, workflows, and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
- Provide a high level of service to our internal users.
- Support the end-to-end employee life cycle, acting as a professional point of contact for all employees.
Qualifications
- A confident self-starter, with the ability to operate in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Ability to research, analyze and recommend solutions to questions or issues as they arise.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain a professional tone while handling sensitive data and resolving administrative hurdles.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making.
- Excellent Excel skills and solid understanding of payroll and HRIS software or other software stacks used in global businesses.
- Adaptable, flexible and willing to help out where needed with hands-on tasks.
- Advanced data manipulation - someone who can comfortably manage datasets to drive organization, process improvements and insights.
- Systems integration - has a developed perspective on state of the art global HRIS and payroll systems.

The estimated compensation for this position is $55,000 to $80,000.
