The Business
Join a high-growth performance marketing agency that has built a reputation for delivering exceptional results across SEO, Digital PR, Paid Media and Performance Marketing. Working with clients ranging from ambitious challenger brands through to established national businesses, the agency prides itself on taking a commercially driven approach to search. They don't chase vanity metrics. They focus on helping clients generate meaningful growth. With continued investment in the SEO team, they're now looking for a Senior SEO Manager to play a key role in the next phase of growth.
The Role
As Senior SEO Manager, you'll sit at the heart of the SEO team, working closely with senior leadership to drive strategy, support team development and lead some of the agency's most important client relationships. This isn't a role for someone who simply follows best practice. They're looking for someone who enjoys testing, innovating and staying ahead of where search is heading next. You’ll have the opportunity to influence SEO strategy across a diverse portfolio of clients while helping the wider team develop their skills and capabilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading SEO strategy across a portfolio of key client accounts.
- Delivering technical audits, keyword research and growth opportunities.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the SEO team.
- Working directly with clients to communicate strategy and results.
- Supporting pitches, proposals and new business activity.
- Exploring how AI and automation can improve performance and efficiency.
- Staying ahead of industry developments and helping shape the agency's SEO offering.
About You
You’ll likely have at least five years of SEO experience and a strong technical foundation, but just as importantly you’ll be someone who enjoys solving problems, analysing data and finding opportunities others miss. You’ll be comfortable managing client relationships, presenting recommendations and explaining complex SEO concepts in a way that makes sense to stakeholders. Experience with platforms such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and GA4 will be expected, alongside a strong understanding of how SEO is evolving alongside AI, LLMs and changing search behaviours.
The Package
£50,000 depending on experience + performance related bonus. Hybrid working, 2 days in office & flexitime. A Whopping 36 days of annual leave. Ongoing learning and development opportunities. Clear progression within a growing agency. Opportunity to help shape the future of a highly regarded SEO team.
If you’re looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact, work alongside some exceptionally talented marketers and help define what great SEO looks like in 2026 and beyond, we should talk.
