Overview

Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join a highly regarded RIBA practice based in Newport, with a specific focus on healthcare projects.

This practice has 120 employees across three UK offices and is now looking to expand its Healthcare team. You'll be joining a well-established Newport office of 30 professionals in a modern, open-plan space recently renovated by the practice's in-house interiors team. The office is easily accessible, within walking distance of the train station.

We're looking for someone with ideally practical experience in the healthcare sector, from hospitals and health centres to specialist treatment facilities. Other experience will be considered.

You'll be delivering projects from early concept through planning and technical stages, often collaborating with NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers.

Salary and benefits

Salary from £37K to £46K DOE.

  • Hybrid working after 3 months (2 days from home)
  • Flexible start/finish times
  • Discretionary bonus twice a year (subject to performance & profit)
