Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Konker is working with a well-established Cheltenham-based architectural practice that\’s continuing to grow and is now looking to add a Part II Architectural Assistant to their planning team.

This is a genuinely solid opportunity for someone who wants responsibility, support when needed, and a clear route to progress, without being micromanaged.

The practice is a team of 13, so still small enough that you\’ll know everyone, but structured enough (with Architects and Chartered Technologists in the team) that you\’ll be properly supported as you develop.

The Role: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

You\’ll be joining the planning side of the business, working across a mix of residential-led schemes (around 60-70%), alongside increasing work in specialist care, commercial and education.

You\’ll be involved across RIBA stages, but with a real focus on planning submissions and early-stage design development, so a good balance of design, technical input and real project responsibility.

They\’re pretty open on experience, from recent Part 2 graduates through to those with a few years under their belt, but they really value people who want to stay, grow, and become part of the long-term team.

The Position: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

• £28,000 – £35,000 DOE
• 20-22 days holiday + Christmas/New Year shutdown (around 25 days total)
