Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Manchester.

This is a unique opportunity for a fluent Mandarin-speaking Architect to play a key role in delivering international projects, acting as the link between the UK team and the client's offices in China.

You will work on a diverse range of projects across sectors including healthcare, education, industrial, logistics and defence, collaborating with colleagues in both the UK and China.

The successful Architect will be fluent in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

An understanding of Chinese business culture and professional practice is needed, whether through your background or previous experience working closely within Chinese organisations.

Based in the Manchester office, you'll work UK business hours while communicating daily with teams in Shanghai and Quanzhou.

The role also offers the opportunity to travel to China once or twice a year, with all business travel fully funded.

This consultancy employs over people across architecture, building surveying and project management and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects in a collaborative, Revit-led environment.

Salary is between £37,500-£45,000 depending on experience, alongside a discretionary bonus.
