We’re working with a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy who are hoping to add a Principal Mechanical Engineer with proven Building Services Design experience to join their growing team.

With a West Midlands based office, this role enables you to have almost complete autonomy over your work diary, work from home and deliver projects wherever you see fit. You’ll be required to visit the office on occasion to collaborate with regular socials held with all employees.

About the position

This is a senior technical position within the mechanical building services team, where you will take ownership of project delivery from early concept through to detailed design and completion, running schemes in sectors such as commercial developments, mixed-use schemes, residential developments, healthcare facilities, and education buildings, with exposure to both new build and refurbishment work.

You will play a key role in ensuring technical quality across mechanical design outputs, while also contributing to project leadership and coordination across multidisciplinary teams. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and will need minimal support.
