The Position: As a Senior Event Operations Manager you are responsible for leading and delivering on the events from initial enquiry, planning to onsite delivery and execution. Collaborating and recruiting event staff to bring the vision to life seamlessly. With strong communication and relationship building throughout with clients, suppliers and vendors. Acting as the ‘go to’ person for all questions from clients, event staff, vendors and suppliers, overcoming challenges on the day efficiently. Project and budget ownership, ensuring the costings and budgets are met for each event and managing profitability. Experience within catering/events and knowledge on health and safety within the food industry is essential.
About you: Event catering experience required (Min 3 years) confident in the full event lifecycle from briefing to onsite delivery. Bubbly character and a natural people person, confident with client, vendor, customer and supplier communications. A supportive team player, eager to get stuck in! Leadership skills are essential, experience managing onsite teams to provide seamless delivery of your events. Knowledge on commercial and budget management, full ownership on projects! Happy to be customer facing!
