About the company:

This Building Services Design consultancy based to the West of Leeds is looking for a Graduate Sustainability Engineer to join their team of 5 members, who work very closely alongside their Building Services team. Having over 30 years’ experience of building environments and low energy designs, they offer a range of services including mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy, low carbon consultancy, BIM, and BREEAM. Working across many sectors such as banking/finance, retail, leisure centres, student accommodation, high rise, conservation and historical buildings, this consultancy has several repeat clients which in turn offers the successful Engineer the chance to progress and learn quickly.

The team is made up of around 25 experienced engineers, designers and consultants collaborating to create energy-efficient systems in all their projects from inception to completion. Their main priority is to always provide a high standard level of service to their clients which has gained them a reliable reputation in building services, thus resulting in long-term strong relationships with their customers.

Using industry-leading technology such as Revit and IES, they tailor systems to fit with their clients’ needs and wants. Offering reports on dynamic thermal modelling, low and zero carbon energy, and daylight calculations, sustainability is at the heart of their projects.

In this role, you will be supporting a Senior Engineer within a fast-paced environment, working on projects across the country.

What they are looking for in a successful Graduate Sustainability Engineer:

  • Building Services or Architectural Engineering degree, specific to Building Physics, may also consider Physics students.
  • Familiar with software packages such as Revit or IES – training will be provided.
