About the company: This Building Services Design & Sustainability consultancy is searching for an Intermediate/independent Sustainability Consultant to join their team in Leeds, ideally someone with a buildings specific degree and a couple of years of experience working as a Building Physics Engineer or a very similar role. They would also consider graduates with a very specific degree! Having over 30 years’ experience in the building environment and low energy designs, this medium sized company offers a range of services to their clients including mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy, low carbon consultancy, BIM, and BREEAM. Working across many sectors like retail, leisure and industrial, this consultancy has several high repeat clients which in turn offers the successful Building Physics Engineer the chance to progress in their career.

We’re ideally looking for someone who is LCEA accredited, has experience with either TAS or IES, is happy with Part L SBEM & SAP calculations and is also familiar with BREEAM reporting. If you are a graduate, these would be the responsibilities you’d be working towards!
The team is made up of around 25 experienced engineers, designers and consultants collaborating to create energy-efficient systems in all of their projects from inception to completion. Their main priority is to always provide a high standard level of service to their clients which is what has gained them a reliable reputation in building services, thus resulting in long-term strong relationships with their customers.
Using industry-leading technology such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP, they tailor systems to fit with their clients’ needs and wants. Offering reports on dynamic thermal modelling, low and zero carbon energy, and daylight calculations, sustainability is at the heart of their projects.
In this role, you will be supporting a Senior Engineer within a fast‑paced environment, working on projects across the country.
