Are you an experienced HV Protection Engineer or similar ? Do you thrive in a role where every day presents new challenges, from planning and scheduling with SAPs to executing complex technical tasks in the field?
In this role, you’ll be part of a leading HV Engineering division, supporting all aspects of LV & HV services for a wide range of clients. You’ll work on protection relays, HV switchgear, and substation automation, ensuring critical assets operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Commissioning, and servicing protection relays (Alstom, VIP 300/400, Micrologic, Micom, REF, TEC, G99 – not limited to) and HV protection systems, including primary/secondary injection and VLF testing.
- Scheduling with SAPs, obtaining permits, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Leading projects, mentoring junior engineers
- Modifying protection drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Integrating automation systems for seamless substation operation.
The Person:
- Experience as HV Protection / Commissioning Engineer or similar
- Looking for a permanent / long term opportunity
- Based in the Midlands or any area in the South East of England / Willing to relocate
- Right to work in the UK
