The Role: As Ecommerce Design Specialist, you will design and deliver high-quality ecommerce websites for retail clients, creating engaging and commercially effective online experiences across desktop and mobile. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you'll manage projects from concept through to delivery while also contributing to ongoing site improvements, UX/UI enhancements and emerging AI-driven initiatives. This is a client-facing role that would suit someone who enjoys balancing creativity, technical delivery and relationship management within a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and deliver responsive ecommerce websites for retail clients.
  • Apply UX/UI best practices to improve customer experience and conversion.
  • Manage multiple client projects and ongoing website improvements.
  • Support onboarding calls, discovery sessions and client communication.
  • Use HTML, CSS and JavaScript to support website functionality.
  • Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and related tools.
  • Support innovation through AI tools, automation and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
  • Ensure websites remain visually engaging, high-performing and on-brand.

About You:

  • 3+ years' experience within ecommerce or web design.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Proficient using Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and client requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of Core Web Vitals and ecommerce performance.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, SEO or AI tools would be beneficial.
  • Passion for ecommerce, design and emerging technology.
