An established Essex-based practice is hiring an Architectural Technician to join its Colchester team. A varied workload across multiple sectors, a strong technical culture, and a role with the autonomy to run your own packages and see projects through to delivery.

You will produce and coordinate technical drawings across live projects, working with the wider design team and engaging directly with consultants, contractors and clients on the technical side.

The Architectural Technician role, day to day:

  • Producing detailed technical drawings and project information across the RIBA stages.
  • Coordinating with architects, contractors and consultants through the technical and construction stages.
  • Applying UK Building Regulations, standards and CDM requirements as part of the day job.
  • Supporting site queries and project delivery across live schemes.
