Job Description
Part Time RICS Registered Residential Surveyor (PAYE)
Level 2 & Level 3 Surveys | Flexible Working | London – local work only
2 days per week – £22,000 (negotiable)
3 days per week – £32,000 (negotiable)
We are recruiting an experienced RICS Registered Residential Surveyor to join a growing surveying practice on a part-time PAYE basis. The role focuses on delivering Level 2 Homebuyer Surveys, Level 3 Building Surveys, and occasional Residential Market Valuations across London.
This opportunity is ideal for surveyors seeking reduced hours, flexibility, or a better work life balance, without the pressures of full-time employment, sales targets, or business development.
The Role
- Carry out Level 2 Homebuyer Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys in line with RICS standards
- Produce clear, accurate, and professional reports
- Undertake residential market valuations (where competent)
- Identify defects and provide practical, professional recommendations
- Ensure ongoing compliance with RICS regulations and best practice
Client Interaction
- Communicate survey findings clearly and professionally
- Respond to client queries regarding surveys and reports
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service
Essential
- RICS Registered Surveyor (AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS)
- Proven experience delivering Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys
- Strong understanding of UK residential construction and building pathology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence not essential but preferable
