Job Description

Part Time RICS Registered Residential Surveyor (PAYE)

Level 2 & Level 3 Surveys | Flexible Working | London – local work only

2 days per week – £22,000 (negotiable)

3 days per week – £32,000 (negotiable)

We are recruiting an experienced RICS Registered Residential Surveyor to join a growing surveying practice on a part-time PAYE basis. The role focuses on delivering Level 2 Homebuyer Surveys, Level 3 Building Surveys, and occasional Residential Market Valuations across London.

This opportunity is ideal for surveyors seeking reduced hours, flexibility, or a better work life balance, without the pressures of full-time employment, sales targets, or business development.

The Role

  • Carry out Level 2 Homebuyer Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys in line with RICS standards
  • Produce clear, accurate, and professional reports
  • Undertake residential market valuations (where competent)
  • Identify defects and provide practical, professional recommendations
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with RICS regulations and best practice

Client Interaction

  • Communicate survey findings clearly and professionally
  • Respond to client queries regarding surveys and reports
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service

Essential

  • RICS Registered Surveyor (AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS)
  • Proven experience delivering Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys
  • Strong understanding of UK residential construction and building pathology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence not essential but preferable
