An AJ100-ranked Birmingham studio is having its best year in 2025 and needs an Architectural Technician to keep the momentum rolling in its education team. You’ll drop straight onto big university and school projects, detail everything in Revit, and stay involved right through delivery.
The Opportunity: Architectural Technician
- Work with Revit daily.
- Multi-million-pound education schemes, not single-block extensions.
- You’ll have a career runway in a team that’s growing fast – clear steps to Senior and beyond.
- AJ100 credentials with work that’s noticed across the industry, not just inside the office.
- Birmingham base – city-centre studio with the buzz (and transport links) to match.
The role:
- Developing full technical packages in Revit for new-build and refurbishment education projects.
- Nailing compliance with Building Regs, DfE and university standards.
- Coordinating with architects, engineers and contractors to keep designs buildable and on budget.
- Visiting live sites so you can see your details in action and fix issues fast.
What you’ll bring
- Solid Revit skills and a track record on large-scale projects (education a bonus).
- Sharp eye for detail plus the confidence to push back when something won’t work on site.
- Curiosity, drive and the knack for juggling deadlines without dropping the ball.
Sounds like the move you’ve been waiting for?
Ping me a quick note or a CV, and I’ll fill you in on salary, team setup and next steps.
