Konker is recruiting for an Architect, Senior Architect or Associate-level Architect to join an RIBA practice.
Based in a thriving market town in Somerset, they are seeking an Architect to help grow the office further whilst working on some exciting projects.
This practice of 8 has recently become employee-owned, giving you extra benefits as an employee within the business, including a tax-free bonus, subject to profit/personal performance.
They work on a wide variety of projects across Devon & Somerset including barn conversions, bespoke new builds, listed & historic buildings plus much more.
The Position: Architect
- Working across all RIBA Stages
- Using Vectorworks (Training Given)
- Liaising with clients and different stakeholders
- Project Management & Contract Administration
- Helping other colleagues in the office
Salary for this position is between £33,000-£45,00,0, depending on previous experience. Hybrid working is also offered, but with a preference for being in the office.

- Live within a commutable distance of Somerset
- Driver\’s license & car owner
- ARB Registered is essential
- Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations & UK Planning System
- Previous experience using Vectorworks is advantageous
