Overview

Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join the Oxford office of an AJ 100 practice. This position is an important strategic hire which will see you lead education projects for them across the South East. This Architect role would suit someone with multidisciplinary project experience in higher education, further education, independent schools or commercial. The practice offers expert response to complex briefs, designing award-winning projects across the UK. You will be joining a small to medium-sized team, part of a larger practice with 3 UK offices consisting of 90 staff members. The Oxford office is looking to expand from 8 to 12/15 people within the next 1-3 years. The office space is shared with a leading engineering consultancy, offering collaboration opportunities and exposure to industry knowledge. This Architect role will involve projects from concept through to completion, with responsibility for project running, client presentations, and coordination with consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Previous Architect experience working in the UK
  • Live within a commutable distance of Oxford
  • Knowledge and strong understanding in the education and/or commercial sectors
